First Draft..........

Well we were supposed to hand in our first draft of our research essay on Friday and I have to admit, I first did it this morning. I believe that my expectations of myself are completely higher than what are expected of our first draft and I had to look at Assignment #15 sheet over and over and over again. Because I wanted it to be perfect and I wanted to have at least 10 pages of writing to hand in, but I did not. I guess I did not have the kind of progress on the essay that I had wanted, partially because I want to see what comments the group has on it and to find out what questions need to be answered. What are ones instinctual actions with a group such as developmentally delayed or autistic when you are trying to communicate with them? Do you automatically assume that they communicate like we do and understand like we do or do you treat them as if they are automatically slower than yourself? Just curious what people think and what their thoughts are. Please let me know so that my essay can have information that is going to be informative to you.
